Terms & Policies

Prizes must be claimed from the sponsors within 2 weeks of the announcement of winners or will be subject to forfeiture. Sponsors are responsible for their donations. We cannot accept responsibility for the redemption of sponsor prizes. If you have problems claiming a prize, please report it to our offices so that we can contact the sponsor and/or remove the prize from our sponsor list.

Sponsor prizes must be viewed strictly as bonuses. They are not a part of the official Elite Beauty prize package.

Judges' decisions are final.

Contestants compete against themselves and must earn a score of 80 out of 100 to be awarded a National Title (70 out of 100 for a State title). If a contestant does not receive the required score, he or she will be given another chance to re-apply free of charge and will receive a detailed critique sheet on ways to improve his or her score.

Scoring Criteria — Contestants will be scored 1–100 on each of the following:

• Facial Beauty — based on photo(s) submitted
• Achievements — based on entry form submission
• Overall Impression — based on photos and resume
• Community Service — based on information provided in resume
• Model Potential — based on photo(s) submitted
• Entry Presentation — based on photos and resume
• Previous Pageant Experience (special awards, titles, honors, etc.) — based on resume and/or entry form
• Quality of Photos — based on photo(s) submitted
• Leadership — based on resume and/or entry form

The top 3 scores will be kept and averaged for the overall score.

We do not issue full scores, but contestants may request a list of their top 3 scoring categories. If you do not receive your title on your first attempt, you will be given a critique and a chance to reapply free of charge. This offer is valid for the following season's pageant only. If you do not re-apply within this time frame, your fee will be forfeit.

• All contestants under the age of 18 must have consent from a legal guardian to participate.
• All fees submitted are non-refundable.
• Winners grant Pageant Emporium the right to use their image for promotional purposes.
• We encourage winners to promote their titles by making appearances in queen attire, but we ask that queens contact us for pre-approval before promoting Elite Beauty at an event.
• Our representatives must refrain from using their titles to promote at political events and/or events that are not appropriate for the general public.
• Poor sportsmanship and/or conduct deemed inappropriate by the director/staff are grounds for disqualification and/or title relinquishment without refund.
• National Winners may enter the following season's contest. We will not combine divisions.

• Contestants are responsible for keeping the office updated regarding any mailing address changes that occur between the time of entering and the scheduled prize shipment date.
• If your package is returned because an incorrect address was submitted on the entry form, the contestant will be responsible for the S&H fees necessary to resend. If the fee for the resend is not received within 2 weeks of the return notice, prizes may be subject to forfeiture.
• We cannot be responsible for damage to prizes due to mishandled mail.
• We can send your package insured up to $300 if you'd like to pay an additional $5 fee. If any prizes are received with damage, the recipient is responsible for filing a claim with the postal system or courier.
• Prizes are sent according to the prize schedule unless otherwise posted.

We accept entries from international contestants (for a separate international competition), but if the contestant wins a mailed prize package, she must provide a US address to which we can ship her package, or pay additional international S&H fees for any mailed prizes.
